Transfer talk from The Emirates including Julian Draxler, Yohan Cabaye, Josuah Guilavogui, Kaka, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Salamon Kalou and Nicklas Bendtner.
The latest name being linked with a move to Arsenal is German wonderkid Julian Draxler. The Schalke 04 star, who signed a contract extension until 2018 at the end of the season, has previously intimated he has no desire to leave Gelsenkirchen until next season at the earliest.
But Arsenal are now said to be readying a potential £40 million bid for the talented German.
However, Schalke rate their starlet at a quite astonishing fee of £60 million. It is believed contact has been made between the two clubs about a deal - but Schalke’s valuation will have to dip considerably for any deal to be considered likely.
Interest in Yohan Cabaye has reportedly ended, after Arsenal told Newcastle United they will not pay over £12 million for the French international midfielder.
The Toon were holding out for a fee closer to the £20 million mark for their star - which Arsenal considered too high.
Cabaye, who has sat out Newcastle’s last three games, is now expected to play against Fulham this afternoon. They are now expected to up their pursuit of St Etienne midfielder Josuah Guilavogui.
Arsenal are one of many teams being offered the services of Brazilian playmaker Kaka according to reports. The one-time world’s most expensive player handed in a transfer request at Real Madrid earlier this week. AC Milan and Sao Paulo are the favourites to sing him, while LA Galaxy have also been mentioned - but at 31 he may fancy a crack at the Premier League.
Arsenal will not be signing Geoffrey Kondogbia - after the talented young French international joined AS Monaco late last night. The £20 million man spoke of his ambition after completing a deal to join the club - and he is yet another midfielder the club have missed out on this summer.
Despite intimating yesterday that Nicklas Bendtner could stay at Arsenal, Crystal Palace have reopened negotiations with the player about a move to Selhurst Park.
With that in mind Arsenal are said to be after a former Chelsea player - in the form of Salamon Kalou. The Ivorian has been in great form recently for Lille and has a very affordable release clause of £2.6 million - but he will only move to a team giving him assurances of playing through the middle
