Jackson Martinez hints at Arsenal transfer after revealing plans to quit Porto

Porto striker Jackson Martinez has opened the door on a summer switch to Arsenal after admitting he is seeking a transfer to a ‘big club’.
The Gunners are said to have added Martinez to their list of key transfer targets, with Arsene Wenger ready to spend big at the end of the season.
And Martinez is doing all he can to make the move happen – after telling the Portuguese media that he wants to depart Porto as soon as possible.
‘I think there will be a chance of a move in the summer,’ he said.

‘I’m happy at Porto, but it would be nice to play in another big club. I like the English league – this is well known of course.’
Martinez, who has scored 39 goals in 47 matches since moving to Europe from Mexico, has previously admitted he would ‘love’ to play for Arsenal – as he grew up supporting the Gunners.
Porto are commanding a huge fee for the attacker, thought to be around £30million.
