Arteta: Age no obstacle

Having been a regular in the team when available this season, the Spanish midfielder returned from Champions League suspension to help his side convincingly beat Sunderland 4 - 1 at the weekend.
Turning 32 years old in March, the central midfielder says his experience has helped him become a better player and feels his body is still just as strong.
Speaking to the club’s official website Arteta said: “When you get to know your body and you have more experience, you are able to learn and read the game better. It makes it easier for you and this is probably the time when I'm enjoying my football most, so I want to carry on. For me the age is only a number, I feel very good.”
While accepting there is a time when performances will eventually drop off, the player has made 28 appearances in all competitions this season despite injury and suspension.
Arteta has also praised the summer acquisition of fellow holding midfielder Mathieu Flamini, who he feels has made the team more solid as a result, and allowing for better rotation and keeping the squad fresh.
