Arsenal could get Benzema in January

Arsenal could get Benzema in January

The Madrid striker may be sold in order for the club to bring in Luis Suarez

Arsenal may be in with a shot of signing Karim Benzema in January, talkSPORT.com reports.
The website states that the France international may be sold by Madrid, in an attempt to make room for Liverpool's Luis Suarez, with Arsenal remaining as favourites to seal his signature.
The powers that be at the Bernabeu are reportedly growing increasingly frustrated with Benzema's lack of goal-scoring form- the striker has now gone more than 20 hours without a goal for Madrid or France- and may opt to sell him if he does not rediscover his ability to hit the back of the net.

The 25-year-old has been publicly criticised for his recent performances on the international stage, and has yet to score for Madrid this season.
Arsenal were heavily linked with a move for the former Lyon striker in the summer transfer window, but could not agree a deal with Los Blancos. They did however manage to sign former team mate Mesut Ozil, and the massive French contingent currently at the Emirates may play in Arsene Wenger's favour.
It is believed that if Madrid do choose to put Benzema on the market, either Monaco's Radamel Falcao or Luis Suarez are the desired replacements.
