Wilshere is improving all the time - Flamini
The Frenchman has praised the youngster for his mature display against West Brom last weekend and insists the Englishman is getting better with every passing game
Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini has paid tribute to Jack Wilshere for keeping his cool and netting the equaliser against West Brom despite the physical battering he received.

Wilshere was repeatedly fouled by West Brom players but bounced back to level the match – extending Arsenal’s unbeaten run to 11 matches in all competitions.

And Flamini, who has impressed himself since returning to the Emirates Stadium as a free agent this summer, believes the Englishman is getting back to his best.

“Jack is a technical player, so every timee has one or two players against him, he gets kicked from behind or they try to jump on him,” the Frenchman told reporters.

“It is not that easy when you are talented and trying to make the difference and of course it’s sometimes difficult to keep your calm.

“But he did that at West Brom, very well. It meant that when he had the chance to score, he took it and it was an important goal for us.

“Jack is a very talented player, with a lot of quality, and he plays in a great team. He has everything to be successful. He has proven to everyone that he has done well game after game. He is doing well.

“Of course he will improve. He is still very young and has a lot to learn but what he is doing already is incredible. Everyone at the club is very happy with him.”

After five years away, Flamini insists he is delighted to be back in the Premier League.

“I feel like I never left. I feel really in good in that team,” he added.

“For me, the [Premier League] is themost difficult championship. We can see that every week on the pitch and that everyone can drop points – look at what happened to Tottenham against West Ham. Anything can happen.”
