The players that shone for the Gunners in a surprisingly easy victory.

Usually this would be a best and worst of Arsenal’s players, but in a simple 2-0 win over Napoli in the Champions League there were no duff notes for the home side.
Not everyone was brilliant admittedly, but several were and here are the standout performers for the Gunners from fanatix.
Mikel Arteta Arsenal
Mikel Arteta
It was the Spaniard’s first start of the season and adds further headache to manager Arsene Wenger by providing more midfield stardom to the side.
The team is brimming with such talent that Jack Wilshere was demoted to the bench and Arteta made the most of the opportunity with a dominant display.
Olivier Giroud Arsenal
Olivier Giroud
Once again Wenger is proving that the 63-year-old knows best and whilst everyone else criticised Giroud, the boss stuck with the striker.
Well now the team is reaping the rewards as the France international looked impressive again, scoring once and being heavily involved in the club’s other goal.
Mesut Ozil Arsenal
Mesut Ozil
What a signing the German is proving to be as it was another brilliant performance from the 24-year-old and the attacking midfielder could well be the difference this season.
Ozil ran Napoli ragged in a game that the Germany international was definitely Man of the Match, scoring the first and setting up Giroud for the second.
Aaron Ramsey Arsenal
Aaron Ramsey
Like Giroud there was a time when Wenger seemed to be the Welshman’s only supporter and there were many in the stands at the Emirates Stadium that would happily have seen Ramsey dropped.
There probably isn’t many now however, as once again the 22-year-old was in great form and has formed a superb on-field relationship with Ozil.
Bacary Sagna Arsenal
Bacary Sagna
The right-back has been in the best form of the Frenchman’s career at the Emirates so far and is becoming part of the positive flow for the club.
Sagna was great on the right side of defence, looking solid at the back and providing important support when the team were on the offensive
