The La Liga side believe Di Maria would fetch £34m as they make way in their wage bill for Gareth Bale. The Welshman will earn £8.6m net a year on a six-season deal. Guardian: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants to bring Karim Benzema to the Emirates, but that hope hinges on Real Madrid’s purchase of  striker Luis Suarez fromPremier League top-four challengers, Liverpool.
