Arsenal forward Gervinho is edging closer to an exit from the Emirates Stadium.
Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini is reportedly flying into London on Friday to hold talks about buying the Ivorian for £8m.
Gervinho has failed to hit the heights since joining Arsenal two years ago and is expected to leave the club this summer.
And a move to Roma - where he would link up with his former manager at Lille, Rudi Garcia - is expected to be completed within the next week.
Sabatini will fly into London to hold talks with Arsenal officials before jetting to America, where Roma are currently on tour.
