Chelsea are keen on bringing AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli back to the Premier League this summer, according to Le 10 Sport.
The Italian has reportedly expressed his desire to leave the Rossoneri after less than two seasons at the San Siro - and several English clubs, including Chelsea, are keen to take him back to England.
Le 10 Sport claim that Tottenham have already approached Milan to enquire about the 23-year-old’s availability, while rivals Arsenal have also been strongly linked with the enigmatic striker in recent weeks.
However, now Chelsea are considering entering the race, with the Blues’ manager Jose Mourinho desperate to land a clinical striker this summer.
The news may come as somewhat of a surprise to those who can remember back to March 2010, when Balotelli worked under Mourinho at Inter Milan.
The relationship between the two deteriorated over time, with Mourinho often left infuriated by Balotelli’s immature attitude.
However, almost four years down the line, the Portuguese coach may feel that the Italy international has grown up enough to deserve a second chance to join one of his teahttp://www.givemesport.com/436626-chelsea-consider-shock-swoop-for-40m-arsenal-striker-target?autoplay=onms.
