Arsenal duo scoop monthly awards after unbeaten September

Arsene Wenger and Aaron Ramsey have won the Barclays Premier League manager and player of the month awards for September after Arsenal’s strong start to the season.

The Gunners are top of the Premier League table after winning all four of their games in September, against north London rivals Tottenham, Sunderland, Stoke and Swansea.
Wales midfielder Ramsey has been one of the stars of the campaign so far and the in-form 22-year-old found the net against Sunderland, Swansea and Stoke.
Wenger is the longest serving boss in England and it is his 13th manager of the month award since his arrival at Arsenal back in 1996.
