A HOST of Premier League stars have been away from their clubs this week as the English top flight makes way for international friendlies and tournament qualifiers.

Here, Starsport takes a look at how some familiar faces have got on with their countries.
New Chelsea ace Loic Remy netted the only goal as France defeated Spain in Paris.
The £10.5m man netted in the 73rd minute to earn Didier Deschamps' side the honours.
A host of English-based players featured for the French, includingHugo Lloris, Mahmoudou Sakho, Mathieu Debuchy andMorgan Schneiderlin, while Cesar Azpilicueta, Cesc Fabregas, Santi Cazorla and Diego Costa started for Spain.
Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko netted for Bosnia as they cruised to a 3-0 win over minnows Liechtenstein. Stuttgart's Vedad Ibisevic got the other two.
On Wednesday, Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney netted the only goal from the penalty spot in his first match skippering the Three Lions.
Roy Hodgson's side were largely uninspiring in the 1-0 friendly win over Norway at Wembley.
Meanwhile, United's new £60m star Angel Di Maria helped Argentina gain revenge for their World Cup final defeat to Germany with a goal and two assists in a 4-2 win.
Man City's Sergio Aguero and Tottenham ace Erik Lamela were also on target for the south Americans in Dusseldorf.
Chelsea's Andre Schurrle netted for the hosts.
